No, FOMVM is a separate nonprofit that supports Monte Vista Montessori. The school handles admissions, curriculum, and daily operations; FOMVM raises funds and organizes volunteers and events to support the school beyond what tuition covers.

Every dollar goes toward a specific need - campus repairs and upgrades, classroom materials, administrative support, or family programming. See our Financial Transparency page for a full annual breakdown.

Yes, you don't have to wait for a fundraiser to give. You can make a one-time or recurring donation anytime on our Give page. You can also give directly to Monte Vista Montessori School itself. Please visit the MVM school website to donate that way instead if you prefer. Either path supports MVM.

Yes. FOMVM is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 46-546243). You'll receive a receipt for tax purposes with every donation.

Our two biggest fundraisers are the Night at the Cove and Big Give SA, plus community traditions throughout the year like our Fiesta celebration, Winter Social, and Teacher Appreciation events. See our Get Involved page for upcoming dates.
